Started in 2007 as a blending of our passions for gardening and history, Valentine & Sons is dedicated to preserving history through traditional plants and foods. We actively participate in experimental archaeological projects, using the foodstuffs we produce from our diverse gardens. We offer 100’s of varieties of 18th, 19th, & early 20th century seeds and plants. In 2009, we started our heritage livestock program. We raise Dominique’s, Nankin Bantams & Red Dorkings. These rare and endangered breeds are then used at historical sites, living history events, educational programs and YOUR backyard. We also maintain both single comb Dominique & Dunghill Fowl projects.
